PET stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate. This clear plastic can be found in many different plastic cups and bottle containers. It’s non-toxic and 100% recyclable. PET is generally recognized as being one of the most popular recycled plastics. It is easy to identify if products are made by PET, simply look for the symbol! PET products will have arrows forming a triangle with a #1 in the middle. The #1 is referred to as the resin identification code which allows users to quickly determine that the product is made from PET.
